My best mate has a house on this beautiful island and apart from Rafa Nadal being the icon of this Spanish island there are lots of amazing eateries and hotels.  It's the perfect summer holiday and it's not expensive either!

Cala Barques (pictured above)

This place does some beautiful fresh seafood served on a stunning rustic terrace. The service is warm and it's reasonably priced. Make sure you ask for their artisan ice lolly ice creams which are good quality and extremely tasty. It over looks this wonderful view. Nat bad, ey?!

Son Brull

This hotel is the most wonderful mix of old and modern.  It is an enormous castillo surrounded by vineyards and inside they have kept and resorted old features while installing lots of large glass windows and doors.  It is truly stunning and you do not have to be staying there to eat at the restaurant by the pool.  They have an open plan kitchen serving a sophisticated menu including squid gnocchi, crispy gyozas of pork cheek and grilled rabbit with flat lobster.  My favourite were the starters but pretty much everything is quality and the atmosphere is priceless.  We even had a band playing.  If you are keen they also have a great spa as well.
