New York I love this city and have had some amazing times going out here on the Halloween weekend! One of my best mates from my year abroad has moved here and so I always have a great excuse to visit. He has his ear to the ground with all the new restaurants that open so here are a few from my last trip. PruneLocated in the East Village, this is another brunch place of dreams. Prune is another wonderful place for Bloody Mary's, they even have their own special menu for them. The queue is quite long but I assure you it is worth the wait. I had some amazing eggs, smoked salmon and my friend Casty had some corn fritters. Brilliant, I tell ya! The lady behind it all even has a cookbook.54 E 1st St, New York, NY 10003, United States+1 212-677-6221http://prunerestaurant.com The Spotted PigThis is nothing new, this restaurant has been making waves for years already and it really was delicious. We went for lunch and I had the legendary Cubano with fries. It took my breath away and I actually had to have a doggy bag it was so big. I ate it on the plane home and relived it all over again! The chocolate tart is also pretty good. Remember to book this one as it is rammed all day long.314 W 11th St, New York, NY 10014, United States+1 212-620-0393www.thespottedpig.com PorcettaThis does some incredible pork - go figure!110 E 7th St, New York, NY 10009, United States+1 212-777-2151http://www.porchettanyc.com Luke's Lobster - East VillageThis is the place to go if you want an amazing lobby or crab roll. I went there for Halloween last year and I am still dreaming about it. I was also allowed to film in there and meet the wonderful Kenny who showed me how they made them. The quality is seriously off-the-chain-delicious!93 E 7th StNew York, NY, United States+1 212-387-8487http://lukeslobster.com NavyThis had only just opened when I was in New York and I loved everything from the low key interiors, to the friendly service to the wonderful, inventive seafood. I had the oysters, squid and some delicious charred cauliflower. It's worth a visit but you have to book. The mussels on toast looked pretty ridiculous as well!141 Sullivan St #137, New York, NY 10012, United States+1 212-533-1137http://navynyc.com Joseph Leonard Amazing Blood Mary's and brunch. It played some classic hip hop tunes on a Sunday with some nice tables up at the bar. I loved walking around this area after as well.170 Waverly Pl, New York, NY 10014, United States+1 646-429-8383https://www.josephleonard.com Nina Parker30 December 2017Comment Facebook0 Twitter LinkedIn0 Reddit Tumblr Pinterest0 0 Likes
