I was visiting my mate in Stoke Newington and we were lucky to find this total gem 2 minutes from her flat.  It’s everything you wish for a Spanish restaurant; buzzing atmosphere, open kitchen counter with chatty chefs and insanely delicious Spanish/Catalan sharing plates.  They have an amazing plancha where they cook most of the dishes with octopus, prawns, mussels and oysters straight from the ice display.  My absolute favourite were the grilled mussels with a punchy salsa verde, they blew me away!  I have even been inspired to create my own version of this as it really was on another level.  The grilled octopus is also worth trying.

This would make a good date spot and it’s reasonably priced!
